| Who Am I? + | |
I am Bekah, a twenty-seven (almost) year old woman/lady/girl. Why the slashes? Because I don't feel entirely comfortable calling myself any of those things. I am supposed to be a responsible adult and I am ninety per cent of the time, however, I still cling mercilessly to my childhood. I have a bit of a Peter Pan Complex, I hate the idea of being a "grown up". There are just some things that the world throws at me, where I wish I could just crawl into my mum & dad's arms & have them tell me it is going to be all right. | |

Up until November 2008, I lived with my twenty-two year old brother, his border collie - Atreides, and then his HuskyxCollie - Leto (yes, he's a Frank Herbert fan), and my two kittens - Spike and Drusilla. Up until January '08, I had a tortoise-shell tabby named Mulder, she was fourteen years old, and unfortunately, it was time for her to move on to greener pastures. My parents moved to sunny Queensland in the middle of '06, I originally moved with them, however, after six months of missing my friends Victoria, I moved back - so, the living situation with my little brother survived for two years, until depression and me needing to be in a healthy state of mind, forced my hand and I am now living, once again, in Queensland. We are an incredibly close-knit family unit. Currently living with my Grandad, as he's battling terminal cancer. I am happy to be closer to my folks, though I do wish I could afford a place on my own, and as such, have started saving to buy my first home. Coming back, even though I miss my brother like crazy, was exactly what I needed to get my head back into a sane space, and to sort out my life. I'm even going back to school. | |

I love to write - Fan Fiction, Original Fiction, Poetry. You name it, I write it. You can find it - eventually, all of it will be here. My more mature Fan Fiction can be found under Bekah Rose @ AdultFanFiction(dot)net. I write mainly in the Buffy-verse fandoms, my fic more often then not revolves around the Buffy/Giles relationship and the Fred/Wesley relationship. I've slowly branched out into the Harry Potter fandom, mainly writing about the Draco/Hermione relaionship & the Hermione/Severus relationship - more often then not, I'll write about the Hermione/Severus relationship. Currently, I have just started branching into the Torchwood and Doctor Who fandoms. So, I've now begun adding fan fiction for Torchwood to my ever-increasing list of Works In Progress.
